- National Environment Management Authority (NEMA): Uganda's principal environmental regulator, covering EIA and pollution control.
- Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA): City authority for solid-waste management, drainage, sanitation, and urban environmental planning.
- Office of the Prime Minister (OPM): Coordinates the Cabinet-approved Monthly National Cleaning Day initiative.
- National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC): Urban water supply and sewerage.
- Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA): Conserves and manages wildlife and protected areas.
